Almost Everything and Anything that Best Friend does.

My mouth almost touched the floor, and it's still there.
Last two weeks, a cousin who loves watching "You tube" shared a video to me.
It's a video from "America's Got Talent" show. Well, I am not an American,a Filipino instead.
But that don't limit us at all.
I'm not a fan of the show, just for a duo. "David and Dania", they did a Quick-Change magic. They are so amazing!!!
I got curious, about that Quick-change thing, so I tried googling around the net and found out that there are few who did the same thing, and there are whose even much faster than "David and Dania", but for me the fun and entertainment that the duo brings, is truly incomparable!!
Here's a video of their first appearance in AGT.
See how the judges react, specially Brandy saying "Howwww... did you do that?"
(Too bad, Brandy can't be with them anymore in the next season, after having involved in a four-car accident that led to the death of a motorist.)
Here it goes, hope you'll enjoy it.
I wish I could see them perform live.
I love these guys! sooooo much!
Last night, I reviewed another album.
But this time, it's not a music.
Book and spoken (genre), instead.
I ain't really a big fun, but there are some that pull my lips apart.
And Nick Swardson's album "Party", is giving me soooo much laugh, I almost died laughing while I was listening,it's like I can see in my head what was going on.That make's it more hilarious.
And after a day, while I was in the train this afternoon, I could still remember what I heard in the album, and are bringing me to laugh once in a while...if I'm not aware that I'm in a public place, it could have made me look...weird, yeah!Laughing alone...hehehe
I placed a still video here, you can listen to the last track, to which Nick calls it"Sketch" it is entitled "Cary and Mindy", it still runs in my head up to now.
BTW
Nick's Album became the "Most popular Spoken Album in America" that time when it was released last 2007 Oct, as what Jimmy Kimmel said to the audience when Nick guests on the show.
I liked the last track a lot, 'coz it don't have that much swear words.
Funny, these albums are but so mean!
Super-Not suitable for for kids.
Weird!I listen to Gospel and CCM, but is listening to Books and Spoken as well,
No choice, it's part of my job, but at least I can enjoy everything that I need to do...c",)
Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
I started at the first track....
I said then" this sounds ummmm, sooo familiar", because it is a choir version this time the melody did change a bit, and then I looked at the title
"Holy is the Lord!!!"..I did say Whoa! Why? It's Chris Tomlin's original song...and I like Chris so much,he even composed it,from which was first released and was include in the Sacred Revolution album where in many artist soulfully joint and performed together for GOD's name, and they were called as "The Passion Worship Band". Among them are, Chris T., Matt Redman, David Crowder.( If you are a gospel music lover, this is a must have)
I am glad because the song can be enjoyed in two ways now.
And BTC's version is really good too.
Hearing a choir to sing such a very nice song like this one, will make you feel really joyful!
The hairs all over your body will like to stand and want to sing along...yeah, mine did.
We sung together!
Most of the songs are so lively like you would want to stand and sing, even you are alone, though...hehehe
But there are these solemn ones too.
The track "I'll Say Yes" also the album's title, for me is one of the best slow-sung number, while the choir sings in the background Carol speaks so heartedly you could feel the spirit whiel they are doing the performance.
Such a really nice album,no doubt they made it in "The Billboard 200 reaching their peak at no.80, 3rd in Top Gospel and 2nd Top Christian Albums".
now I have 'em now in my play list..Thank you boss!!
Chris Tomlin,
Jars of Clay,
David Crowder etc.
Just some of the gospel singers that your best friend knows since he started his job as a Music Researcher.
So happy that through the times spent in the work, was once in a while introduced in to the music that these artists offer.
I admit, I'm not holy or a typical Christian who attends the Holy mass every week.
But that don't make me an atheist...hehehe
Maybe one of the reason why I like this band and artist is because of the message they have in their songs which are most likely part that I missed to hear in the mass.
The feeling is really great, once you tried listening to their songs and able to let it flow in you.
Sometimes so solemn, sometimes so vivacious and most of all I'm feeling happier with each songs.
In that way, best friend is able to follow some of Steve Chandler's 100 ways to motivate yourself: Change Your Life Forever "We are not singing because we are happy, but we are HAPPY because we SING"
I'm hoping I said it right, correct me if not.
Your best friend believes that through listening to this gospel music, he gets one step closer to his goals.
At the right side some of blog Christ Tomlin videos are posted, you may want to give it a try..so,just click!
